Join leading experts in trauma and emergency surgery at the 15th Swiss Trauma & Acute Care Surgery (STACS) Days, March 19–20, 2026. For the first time, the meeting will take place at Eventfabrik Bern.

The two-day program (March 19 and March 20, 2026) features state-of-the-art lectures, interactive workshops, and expert panels on sepsis, trauma care, and surgical innovation. With hands-on sessions, pro-con debates, and case discussions, this meeting fosters collaboration and advances excellence in Acute Care Surgery across Switzerland and beyond.

For the first time, the STACS Days will be held at the Eventfabrik Bern.

Company

The Swiss Trauma & Acute Care Surgery (STACS) days are an annual event organized by the Swiss Society of Acute Care Surgery in collaboration with the Department of Visceral Surgery and Medicine and the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Inselspital, Bern University Hospital, Bern, Switzerland. The Inselspital belongs to the Insel Gruppe AG.

Short-term changes to the scientific program may occur.

Registration

During the registration period participants can register themselves by filling in the online registration form. A registration is a declaration to participate in the STACS days. Participants who register will receive an email confirming the registration.

Cancellation

Cancellation including reimbursement of the registration fee is possible up to February 22, 2026 (23:59 CET). Participants can cancel their registration by sending an email to stacs@insel.ch.
