2nd Swiss Trauma & Resuscitation Day 2013

Man’s inhumanity to man injures innocent citizens. Drivers routinely push their vehicles beyond the limits of safety or people continue to resolve disputes with knives and guns. As every year, the ravages of injury will continue to challenge physicians, nurses and paramedics from all medical specialties.

This is why we really need the “2nd SWISS TRAUMA & RESUSCITATION DAY (STRD) 2013”!

LESSONS LEARNED FROM THE INJURED

I had the pleasure to attend and participate in the 2nd STRD. The one day meeting was packed with outstanding presentations on very timely topics by internationally recognized experts. The agenda included an informative panel discussions of complex trauma, and hands-on workshops for practical application of established principles. I congratulate the organizers and highly recommend the 3rd STRD for anyone involved in trauma care from field to rehabilitation.
