8th Swiss Trauma & Acute Care Surgery Days 2019

Ladies and Gentleman,

On February 22-23, 2019 the ‘8th SWISS TRAUMA & ACUTE CARE SURGERY (STACS) DAYS’ will take place at Bern University Hospital, Switzerland. This interdisciplinary two day trauma, resuscitation and emergency surgery meeting will be an update of the newest evidence in trauma and resuscitation (day 1) and non-trauma emergency surgery care (day 2).

On day 1, multiple aspects of the polytraumatized patient will be discussed by national and international experts in the field. On day 2, the importance of an interdisciplinary management between emergency medicine, critical care, anaesthesiology, and emergency surgery in the care of patients with acute surgical disease will be highlighted. Again, the focus will be on the treatment of the individual ACS patient, rather than on health care politics.

Best regards,
Your STACS Organizing Committee

PD Dr. Beat Schnüriger and Prof. Dr. Aristomenis Exadaktylos

and Advisory Scientific Committee

Dr. Tobias Haltmeier and Prof. Dr. Marius Keel
