INTERDISCIPLINARY TRAUMA AND ACUTE CARE SURGERY - LEARNING FROM EACH OTHER!

Ladies and Gentlemen

From April 1 to May 16, 2021, the 10th SWISS TRAUMA & ACUTE CARE SURGERY (STACS) DAYS are held fully virtual with pre-recorded presentations. Once registered, you will have full access to all online presentations and CME credits. Additionally, on May 4, 2021, from 16:00 h to 18:00 h, there will be a sum-up webinar for all participants and presenters.

This interdisciplinary trauma, resuscitation and emergency surgery meeting will be an update of the newest evidence in trauma and resuscitation and non-trauma emergency surgery. Taking care of trauma or non-trauma acute surgical patients requires designated professionals from multiple disciplines. Nevertheless, a comprehensive team approach is of paramount importance. The post-acute work-up of these patients is highly valuable and allows the team to review, discuss, and question the performance in a serene setting. Moreover, it is a great opportunity to learn from each other - and once a year at the STACS Days!

Company

The Swiss Trauma & Acute Care Surgery (STACS) days are an annual event organized by the Swiss Society of Acute Care Surgery in collaboration with the University Clinic for Visceral Surgery and Medicine and the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Inselspital, Bern University Hospital. The Inselspital is a member of the Insel Gruppe AG.

Course

Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, the 10th STACS Days will be held fully virtual.Information of the Course are available on www.SwissACS.ch

Registration

During the registration period participants can register themselves by filling in the online registration form. A registration is a declaration to participate in the STACS days. Participants who register will receive an email confirming the registration, including the login credentials for access to the prerecorded video collection. The login credentials are confidential and should not be given to third parties. With the login, participants will have access to the prerecorded video collection from April 1 to May 16, 2021.

Cancellation

Participants cannot cancel their registration. The registration fee will only be reimbursed in case of major technical problems on the part of the STACS organizing committee, that will not allow to view the videos. In case of major technical problems, the time period for video access may be changed at the discretion of the STACS organizing committee.
